For the past two weeks we have been doing swimming lessons, When we got there I was a bit nervous but pretty excited. I got in to the middle group, I did not want to do the top group cause they were like doing butter fly and so many lengths, it looked pretty hard. It had been 1 week done and it was Wednesday, swimming lessons was done and it was time for fun, On Wednesday we did the life jackets everyone had a life jacket and we were just swimming with them on and playing games. It was Thursday it was time for the boat, on Thursday we wore life jackets again, but there was a boat.
Everyone got on the boat and we all had to fall backwards of the boat . Then we swam under the boat it our life jackets, It was Friday PYJAMA DAY! Every had pa jams in the pool, it felt really weird,
Everyone got split in to group, I started with the safety type, We had to pull people into the water with this rope. It was quiet fun, And then I moved onto the another side, the side that we played games on
Do you enjoy swimming lessons?

South Sudan
This week in RE were are talking about south Sudan, It is very sad they they had to live with conflict, There is also other countries that have conflict like-
South Sudan
Iraq
Somali
Sudan
central Africa
Pakistan
Northkera
There's plenty more counties that are going through conflict! I think it is very sad that family are living like that, conflict is effecting many family's and people in south Sudan and other countries, when people moved to south Sudan they had nothing they had no home nothing they had to start from scratch, They had to make there homes, It it very sad to think of!
What i learnt about reading and watching videos about south Sudan is-
To be great full cause you never know what other people are going through, And to pray for people facing conflict,
Have ever study or talked about conflict for RE?

Swimming sports
Hey people so today I am going to tell you about swimming sports, last week we did swimming sports on Friday, when we arrived and I fell quiet nervous but also a bit excited.
I was doing 50m, Last year I did 25m so its my first time, I was racing quiet good swimmers!
Finally they called my name I was racing friends I started to feel really nervous, They blew the whistle I jumped into the pool, That's when my mum said "you can do it" But that didn't really help, There is was the second whistle iI did a great big push of the wall I was going at fast as I could, 1 lap done, 2 lap done, I was tired, Nearly there and that's when i came 4 out of 5 or 6 people.
When I got out of the pool my legs really hurt i felt like i could not walk.
There i sat down, About 20-30 minuets later it was my last race, I was not as nervous for this one cause it was backstroke, And you can like breath more, but when I was doing freestyle its more hard and it makes you tired.
That's when they blew the whistle to jump in and then the other whistle! i pushed or the the wall and there I was 1 lap done 2 laps done! My legs went as sore! I came tired 4th out of 5 people! And we were all over!

SSS PBL
This term our Project Based Learning (PBL) has been about design and the big question was; How can we use a Steam approach to make a marketable product?
First we learned what STEAM stood for.
S for Science
T for Technology
E for Engineering
A for the Arts
and M for Maths
Then we were given challenges. The first to make a chair using newspaper, string and straws that was able to hold a figure made out of multi-link blocks.
Then; make a table that was able to balance MnMs for the team. We were much better at the first challenge because We had all of our group, on the second challenge we did , I feel like we we're more prepared on the first one!
In Literacy we learned to write up science experiments and to write a technology report using the design process of ask, imagine, plan, create, improve and share.
Our next step was to form teams and ask ourselves the big question again.
How can we use a Steam approach to make a marketable product? Our aim was to create enough products or experiences and sell it to raise money for charity.
My team made a game, We painted pictures with we're a landscape picture and a Pig!
And we also made sling shoots and what you had to do in slingshot a little plastic circle but if it was to hard for the little kids they just threw it, and you won prizes if you hit the paintings
My highlight from this PBL was… Making our paintings and having fun
Next time I would… I think we should have been more prepared for our stress ball prizes cause we didn’t get all on them done and we sold out kind of fast!

SSS PBL
SSS, sling it, smell it and score it, yeah, that’s right!
You get to use slingshots to win epic prizes, and only for $2.00.The smell it stands for the four different types of perfumes. Only $1.50, make sure to come by.
For this terms PBL we have market day! We have to make stuff but it has to be creative and then we sell the things we made and that goes to charity.
STEAM:
T: Technology
E: Engineering
A: Art
M: Maths
The people in my group are, Me, Petra, Leo and Quinn.
We made sling shots and perfume, the sling shots you have to shoot the piece for art, and the perfume is just to sell, When you shoot the art if you hit something you get a prize we have different types of prizes

Our Amazing Performance
This term our Project Based Learning (PBL) has been about cultural stories and the big question was:
What is the significance in the 21st Century of our Cultural stories?
First we brainstormed what culture is and came up with lots of ideas. Culture is Where Your from,
and It’s like a Traditions and other stuff.
and It’s like a Traditions and other stuff.
Then we thought about our own culture and talked to our parents about our traditions and heritage.
I wrote a post about my family and things we like to do.
I wrote a post about my family and things we like to do.
In Literacy we read and discussed myths and legends from around the world then we concentrated on
Maori legends. I read Maui and the giant Fish, battle of The mountains, Maui and the sun,
Maori legends. I read Maui and the giant Fish, battle of The mountains, Maui and the sun,
We made a performance about the story battle of the mountains. Some students wrote the script,
some students took on the job of making all the artwork, some worked hard on organising the music
and others took on the role of bringing the story alive with dance and drama.

Reflection:
For our production I contributed by... I helped by doing a little bit of art and colouring in.
I think the show might impact on others by, I think The audience will be excited, And they will be happy
because they learned a Maori legend they might have not known about
because they learned a Maori legend they might have not known about
What I learned about working with others was, I think It’s more fun and better, because we can get more
Ideas cause there's’ more people.
